I teach all ages and all types of students from no music experiences to the intermediate. I perform from small ensembles all the way to solo and large Orchestra and Bands. I have taught in group and in private lessons. I believe everyone have some music in them. This also helps them (and me) to determine the waĭelia C. I try to use various activities and techniques when teaching to keep students interested. As for the other subject areas, I have taken many classes throughout grade school and now college that have provided me with a solid foundation in them. During the summer of 2012, I tutored Korean adults in the mechanics of English, including proper pronunciation, grammar, and conversational phrases. I have experienced numerous auditions, concerts, and other performances, as well as traveled with my high school chamber orchestra to Washington, D.C. I taught private violin lessons to middle schoolers from the fall of 2010 through the summer of 2011, and I myself have received seven years of private instruction. I am a second year student at the Universtiy of Georgia. I played violin for seven years in school and private lessons. I currently sit in the 1st violin section. Recently, I decided to pick it up more seriously and auditioned to play with the Athens Symphony. Although I took quite a long break from playing seriously I continued to pick up the instrument and practice on my own for pleasure. 12 years serious playing and 12 years casual playing. I studied with master teachers in my youth and have played with many ensembles and symphonies as well been a featured soloeist in my younger performing days. I recently picked it back up seriously again, and currently am playing with the Athens Symphony. I played the violin throughout my youth from the age of 8 until I was 20. I use the Russian Method to instill my students with good technique and tone, I use certain pieces for my students that encourage their artistic expression, and I get to know th I am completing my Bachelors degree in Music Education at Georgia State University and I hope to soon teach orchestra in the public school system. I am a sectional coach for Couch Middle School and I have been teaching privately for over five years now. Currently I play violin in the Georgia State University Orchestra, I perform composer's new works in the Atlanta area, and I also enjoy playing in contemporary worship bands. I also played viola in the 20 All-State Orchestras. I was placed first stand in the Kendall Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Gwinnett County Youth Symphony Orchestra, and in the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra. I am proficient as a teacher and performer on the violin, viola, and cello.
